During the beer seminar, you will learn many interesting stories and beer-related tidbits from the world of brewing culture, including fascinating facts about Jan Heweliusz, who was not only a renowned astronomer, mathematician, and scientist. As distinguished Gdańsk brewer, he was known for his excellent beer. He was also the owner of several breweries. Heweliusz came from a family that had been delving into the secrets of beer brewing for many generations. There is a legend that his grandson stored malt for brewing Gdańsk beer in the "Góra" granary, which now houses the Brewery of Hotel Gdańsk.
